#Inside stories was conceptualised at a time where every individual around the world found themselves in the same spot. A catastrophe that accidentally converted a house into a home! This movement based act explores the stories of 4 different individuals, 4 different parts of the world. The act has been conceptualised as a garland of personal stories shared by individuals, the thread binding these stories is a common situation, a space they consider their home and the experience of positivity. The house (home) is conceived as a metaphor for ones self. The piece explores the sense of equanimity that binds every individual of the world, putting aside every binary.

The music has been designed to create a certain aesthetics that brings out the essence of the story told. Each story has a voice over that is the original voice of the individual who’s story it is. The voice has been preserved the way it was sent to maintain the actual emotion of the story teller. The dancing bodies act as tools that unfold these extremely personal stories by embodying them and creating the link with the spectator.

The act is performed merging the vocabulary of Indian classical dance(Bharatanatyam) and Contemporary dance
